SHADOW PUPPET

SHADOW PUPPET :
No horror story is complete without big frightening shadows .
There are many other things we can do with puppet.
Lets make a shadow puppet and a story to go with it..

WHAT YOU NEED?
1. A cardboard box or an ivory
2. sheet
3. A pencil
4. Marker
5. Safety scissors
6. Sticking tape
7. Thread
8. Gateway sheet
9. Thin, long bamboo stick
10.Gel paper.

HOW TO MAKE IT?

1.For a shadow puppet, make all the parts separately, because they are finally joined together.
Make the parts a little longer.

2.Make the legs separately which will be joined later. Cut them out. Separate the character from the knee and join it as shown and the legs are ready.

3.Make the head. cut the body and add a little detailing. Punch holes so that they look
like the buttons on his coat. The light will pass through all the places where the holes are
and remaining area will look like the shadow.

4.Make tiny pin holes to join these parts together.

5.Join the knee. In the same way make holes in the hands and neck and join them.
One one side make a knot. Then put it through the other end.

6.Then hold it together very tightly and make a knot. Cut off the extra thread.
The joint is now ready. Make all the joints. Finally, join the neck.

7.To make its shadow more interesting and colorful, stick some gel paper.

8.To move the hands and legs, put a thin long bamboo stick, so that the head and neck can move.

9.The length of the stick will depend on the screen or the height of the place where the shadow
has to be cast.
