Bobbing Head Animals :

No horror story is complete without big frigthening shadows.
There are many other things we can do with a shadow puppet.
Lets make a shadow puppet and story to go with it.

WHAT YOU NEED?

1.Box board
2.Markers
3.Pencil
4.Safety scissors
5.Clay
6.Thermocol
7.Toothpicks
8.Sketch pens
9.Marker caps

HOW TO MAKE?

1. Make a sketch of tiger on the box board.
Color it and cut it.

2. Make the bushes and color them with caryons. Cut them out.

3. To make a mechanism, which will make it dance, take a small piece of thermocol.
It should fit on the head of the tiger.

4. Now take a toothpick and put it right in the centre. one on one side and more on the otherside.
Remember all the three toothpicks should be in one line.

5. Take the clay and make two small balls of roughly the same size out of it.
Put this on the end of the toothpick so that it remains balanced on it and the second one on the other hand.

6. Now press the toothpick in the middle in such way that only half of it remains outside.

7. Take the rest of the clay and use it to make the cutouts stand.

8. Now make a base for the tiger.Use the cap of sketch pen and ball of clay.
Press it down and place it.

9. Stick the tiger head and hide it towards the back in the jungle.

Wind Chimes

WIND CHIMES :

Wind chimes were initially used in asia.
In temples these werwe used for the purpose of prayers
and in homes people are used to hang these up to chase evil
spirits away.Lets make a wind chime using sme articles lying
around at home.


WHAt DO YOU NEED ?
1.Spoons
2.Forks
3.Butter Knives
4.Plastic Bottle
5.Some Rubber bands
6.Empty bottles of poster colors
7.Strong thread
8.A punching machine
9.Crown caps
10.Straws
11.Scissors
12.Colors
13.Surgial tape
14.String thread or nylon thread


HOW TO MAKE IT?
1.Take a bottle and cut it up as shown


2.Now punch holes in the bottle. Punch as many holes as the number of articles to
be hung.


3.Take the spoons, forks and butter knives and then take a rubber band and keep on
tightening it around them. In this way loop all the forks spoons and knives.


4.Once they are all done paint them.


5.Take the crown cap and the surgical tape. Make a slit in the tape.


6.Then take a tooth pick, then take a small piece from it and tie a thread to it.
Now put the toothpick through the slit.


7.Fix it firmly on the crown cap. Stick the thread to its base.
And paint this. Let it dry.


8.Color the bottle now.


9.Pierce a whole in the centre of the bottle cap and pass athread through it.


10.Similarly get all the spoons, the forks and the knives ready by tying the threads in them.
Cut them evenly.


11.Tie this to the punched holes of the bottle. For extra movement use
poster color bottle.


12.Cut up an arrow from a cardboard piece and paste it on to a straw with some glue.

13.Put the thread through the straw and hang it on the bottle. THE WIND CHIMES
ARE READY.

Creating Face Tissue Flowers

Materials Required
Face Tissue - different colours
Glue (Fevicol)
Thin Aluminium wires
Green tape
Procedure :


1. A first, take the tissue paper and cut it equally into four strips.


2. Now attach three of these strips to make a long strip.

3. Fold this long strip equally making it to about one fourth of its full length.


4. Using a scissors, cut its edges and later unfold the strip of tissue.
5. Take the aluminium wire and fold its edge.
6. Dip its edge in glue.
7. Slowly wind the tissue paper around the wire. As you wind, crush the paper (at the folding edge) for a filling look, at small intervals until you wind the whole strip.
8. Now tighten the same aluminium wire or thread around the flower for support and to prevent from falling off.

9. Wind the green tape around the wire to make the stem.

Your flower is ready. Arrange with fresh ferns for an attractive look.
